Vision
Establish a transparent, accountable and accountable government through the use of information and communication technology; Efficient human resource development; Ensuring social fairness and bringing government services to the doorsteps of the people through public-private partnerships, building a 'digital Bangladesh' by 2021 and turning Bangladesh into a knowledge-based developed country by 2041.
Objectives
2.2.1. Digital Government: Ensuring that services are easily accessible to the people through the use of information technology in all government activities and building a technical and efficient information management;
2.2.2. Digital Security: To make the use of information and communication technology safe and risk-free in all fields;
2.2.3. Social Equity and Universal Access: Establishing social equality at all levels through the use of information and communication technology and ensuring universal access to the information flow of the state;
2.2.4. Education, Research and Innovation: To build a knowledge-based society through the successful application and maintenance of information technology in education and research and to provide support and incentives for innovative activities;
2.2.5. Skill Development and Employment Generation: To build skilled manpower with information technology knowledge through appropriate training and to create employment opportunities;
2.2.7. Strengthening Domestic Capability: Strengthening domestic capacity by setting up IT-based industries and providing services and increasing business capacity by creating a business-friendly environment to encourage investment;
2.2.7. Environment, Climate & Disaster Management: Innovation and adoption of environmentally friendly green technology in the ICT sector to reduce the risks posed by climate change, safe management of electronic waste, disaster response and climate change management; And
2.2.8. Enhancing Productivity: To take effective measures to increase productivity and encourage Digital Entrepreneurship by using information technology in all sectors of the country including health, agriculture, communication, trade and financial sectors.

3.1.1. Ensuring digital delivery of government information and services to the public;
3.1.2. Ensuring transparency and accountability in the delivery of government services through the proper use of digital technology;
3.1.3. Development and maintenance of necessary infrastructure for digital access to government information and services to the public and ensuring public access to it;
3.1.4. Improving the ability of service providers to digitally provide government information and services to the public;
3.2. Digital Security
3.2.1. Ensuring the use of appropriate hardware / software on digital devices to ensure digital security;
3.2.2. Ensuring safe use of the Internet;
3.2.3. Take steps to protect the privacy of personal information;
3.2.4. Taking measures to protect everyone, including women and children, from unwanted and harmful content through all digital means, including social media;
3.2.5. Take necessary measures to prevent and remedy digital crime;

3.4.1. Inclusion and regular updating of information technology education in all levels and disciplines of education from primary level onwards;
3.4.2. Undertake activities aimed at using information technology in teaching and learning activities at all levels of education;
3.4.3. Updating the curriculum in line with employment needs and enhancing mutual cooperation between educational institutions and IT industries;
3.6. Strengthening Domestic Capacity
3.6.1. Strong marketing and branding for marketing of Bangladeshi ICT products and services in the world market and international branding of Bangladesh as a country;
3.6.2. Establishment of nationwide software technology parks / industries and development and maintenance of reliable ICT infrastructure
Strategic Objectives:
